Shahi Paneer Recipe

Shahi Paneer Recipe:

The name itself define the recipe its a royal dish.Shahi Paneer is a combination of lots of ingredients like dry fruits,saffron,whole spices,yogurt and generally cream is added to the dish to make it more delicious and rich.But in this recipe ,I have not used cream.Because the combination of onions,almond,cashew, and melon seed Shahi Paneer Gravy is a Yummy,creamy,aromatic and semi-sweet gravy.I have used yogurt instead of tomato puree,if you want then you use tomato puree.But not that if you used tomatoes puree then you have to use cream also along with tomatoes puree

Serves:4 Serving

Ingredients For Paneer Butter Masala Recipe:

200-250 grams paneer cuts into cubic sized.
1.5 cups strained stock which prepares from boiling the onions with dry fruits.Add 1.5 cups water with strained stock.
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 cup fresh yogurt.Whisked yogurt until it becomes smooth
1/2 teaspoon red chili
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/4 teaspoon cardamon powder
2 tablespoon cream(optional)
salt and sugar as required
A pinch of Kesar

Ingredients fo making the paste:

1 medium sized roughly chopped onion
2 tablespoon chopped cashews
1 tablespoon melon seed - without the skin
1 tablespoon almond
4-5 garlic clove
1 inched chopped ginger
Ingredients for spices
2-3 cloves
2-3 green cardamon
1 bay leaf
1-2 black cardamon
1-inch cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
2-3 tablespoon oil(if you want then used ghee or butter also)

Step by step method of Shahi Paneer Recipe:

1. Add 1.5 cups water in a bowl and add onions,cashews,melon seeds,ginger,almond and garlic and cook for 8-10 minutes.

2. Until the onion becomes soft boil the above the mixture.Strain the mixture and keep aside.

3. Make the paste of above mixture.Add 1-2 tsp strained water.

4. Add 1-2 tsp oil in a pan,add all the whole garam masala and fry them till they release fragrance in the oil.

5. Now add the paste of ground onion-dry fruits paste.until the oil starts to leave the aside of the paste fry the paste.

6. After that add 1/2 tsp red chili,1/4 tsp turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp coriander powder and stir well.

7. Now add the strained stock,whisked yogurt,some water,salt and sugar.stir well all the mixture and cook for 10-12 minutes on a low flame until the gravy become thickens slightly.

8. Now add the crushed saffron and cardamom powder and stir well.

9. After that add paneer cubes.If you want to add cream then add the cream along with paneer cubes.Until the paneer is cooked simmer the gravy.

10. At last garnish the Shahi paneer with coriander leaves and saffron and serve this royal dish with tandoori roti or jeera rice.

Aloo Paneer Kofta Recipe

Aloo Paneer Kofta Recipe:

Aloo Paneer Kofta is also one of the most popular and delicious paneer recipes.Very easy to cook and no need for lots of ingredients.You can try Aloo Paneer Kofta along with Palak Paneer and Paneer Butter Masala.

Serves:14-16 medium sized kofta

Ingredients For Aloo Paneer Kofta Recipe:

200 grams smash paneer
3 medium sized boil potatoes which have been smashed
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/4 red chili powder
2 tablespoon corn flour
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
2 tablespoon mixed chopped dry fruits like almond,cashews,pistachios and raisins
oil for frying
salt as required
chaat masala as required

Step by step method of Aloo Paneer Kofta Recipe:

1. Mix the smash boiled potatoes,mashed paneer,spice powder,coriander leaves and salt in a bowl.

2. Mix the above mixture very well and then make a medium sized ball from the mixture.

3. Placed chopped dry fruits in the center and seal the dry fruits completely with the outer covering.

4. Make all koftas just like shown in above picture.Now heat oil for deep frying in a pan and add koftas into a pan n fry well.

5. Until the koftas become golden brown fry the koftas.

6. Extract the aloo paneer kofta on a paper napkin and remove excess oil from the koftas.

Palak Paneer Recipe

As like Paneer Butter Masala,Tawa Paneer Palak Paneer also one of the famous paneer recipe.This is the combination of smooth palak(spinach)curry and paneer.Palak Paneer Recipe also one of the easy and tasty dish among all the paneer dishes.You can also try Paneer Butter Masala.

Time for Cook:10 Minutes
Serves:4 Serving

Ingredients For Palak Paneer Recipe:

For puree of palak:

fresh spinach(palak)-200 to 250 grams
1-2 chopped green chilies
1-2 roughly chopped garlic cloves
1/2 inch roughly chopped ginger
3 cups water
 For palak curry:
1 onion finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
4-5 garlic cloves finely chopped
Cumin seed- 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder- 1/4 teaspoon
Chili powder- 1/2 teaspoon
1 teaspoon garam masala
a pinch of Hing(optional)
1 bay leaf
200-250 grams paneer cuts into cubic size
2 tablespoon cream
2 tablespoon oil
salt as required

For Garnish:

For coat the palak paneer-a few teaspoons of cream
1/2 inch crushed ginger

Step by step method of Palak Paneer Recipe:

making the Palak Puree:

1. Wash the pala leaves very well in water.If the stems are thin,then remove the stems.

2. Boil 3 cups water and add 1/4 tsp salt to the hot water and stir it.Then add the palak leaves in the hot water.Close with a cover and let the palak leaves perch in the water for 2-3 mins.

3. Now starve the palak leaves

4. Immediately add the palak in a pan which containing cold water leave it as it is about 1-2 minutes which helps in preserving the green color of the palak.

5. Now filter the cold water from the palak.Add the spinach in a grinder jar along with chopped chilies,ginger and garlic.

6. No need to add water to the jar.Make a smooth palak puree and keep it aside.

Making The Palak Curry:

1. Heat oil in pan

2. Add cumin seed and let them splinter

4. Add the finely chopped onion and fry until it become golden

5. After that add the finely chopped garlic and fry it until the raw fragrant of garlic goes away.

6. Now add the chopped tomatoes,until it becomes soft stir and cook it well

7. when you see the fat releasing from the sides of the mixture then add red chili,turmeric powder and a pinch of Hing

8. Stir all the mixture very well

9. After the add palak puree to the mixture and stir well

10.Add near about 1/2 cup water or as per the requirement of gravy and stir again

11. cook it for 5-6 minutes or more until the palak is cooked.Add some salt.

12. Stir well the above mixture and add garam masala powder.

14. Mix gently and boil it on a low flame until the paneer cubes become fleshy and soft.

15. At last add cream and stir gently so that the cream gets absorbed uniformly in gravy.

Paneer Butter Masala is very easy to cook and is available in almost all Indian restaurants.Paneer Butter Masala is one of the most popular dishes.You can also try Kadai Paneer and Tawa Paneer


Paneer Butter Masala

Time for Cook:30 Minutes
Serves:4 Serving

Ingredients For Paneer Butter Masala Recipe:

200-250 grams paneer cuts into cubic sized.
Pureed of 3-4 Tomatoes.
2 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste.
1 bay leaf.
1 teaspoon garam masala.
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder.
1 tablespoon oil.
2 tablespoon butter.
a smooth paste of 10-15 cashews,add some water with the cashews to make the very smooth paste.
1/2 cup water.
a few coriander leaves(only for garnish)
sugar and salt as required.

Step by step method of Paneer Butter Masala Recipe:

1. soak 10-15 cashews in a water near about 20- 30 minutes.After soaking,add some water to the cashews and make fine paste of cashews just like ginger-garlic paste.

2. remove the paste of cashew in a bowl and keep aside.

3. now make the puree of 3-4 tomatoes in grinder machine.

4. no need to add water while blending the tomatoes.keep aside the puree of tomato.

5. now add 2 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp oil in a pan.

6. after that add bay leaf and fry it until the oil becomes aromatic

7. now add 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste and fry it until the raw aroma of the paste is disappears.

8. add the tomato puree and stir it for few minutes.

9. after 5-6 minutes puree begins to cook now add 1/2 tsp red chili powder.

10. until oil starts leaving the sides of the pan stir and continue to cook the above mixture.

11. after that add the smooth paste of cashew.

12. until cashew paste is cooked and again the oil will start to leave the side of masala saute
the mixture.keep stirring about 3-4 minutes on a low flame.

13. now add 1/2 cup water.If required then you can add few cups water also as per requirements.

14. when the curry comes to boil after 3-4 minutes,add the slash of 1-2 green chilies,salt, and sugar and stir it well.

15. when finally gravy will cook well after a minute adds the paneer cubed and mix well.you can also fry the paneer and then add the paneer to the gravy.

16. stir gently and let the paneer cook in the gravy for 2-3 minutes.at the last add, some chopped coriander leaves for garnishing also add 1 tbsp garam masala and stir very well and switch off the flame and serve the hot Paneer Butter Masala with tandoori or steam rice.
