Coconut Curd Chutney this is another style of coconut chutney.This chutney is totally different in the test because of curd.The curd gives a slightly sour taste to the chutney.This chutney goes well with medu vada,idli n Sabu dana khichdi.You can Also try this Hotel style Coconut Chutney and Red Coconut Chutney.

Serves:3 Serving

Ingredients For Coconut Curd Chutney Recipe:

1/2 cup chopped fresh coconut
4 tablespoon roasted chana dal
1/2-inch ginger
1-2 green chilies
4 tablespoon whisk smooth curd
salt as required

Ingredients for tempering:

9-10 curry leaves
1 tablespoon mustard seed
1 pinch of Hing
1-2 dry red chilies
1 tablespoon oil

Step by step method of Coconut Curd Chutney Recipe:

1. Take a Chopped fresh coconut,roasted chana dal,ginger,green chili and water in a small grinder jar and grind the mixture well.

2. Now mix the chutney with whisked yogurt,add salt to it and keep aside.

3. Add 2 tsp oil to the pan and heat it.Add 1 tbsp mustard seeds and leave it to burst.

4. Then add the red chilies,curry leaves, and a pinch of Hing.

5. Until the curry leaves becomes crispy fry it.Note that the red chilies don't burn.

6. Now pour the tempering into the chutney and stir well.

7. Now serve the tasty curd coconut chutney with idli dosa and uttapam.
