Ingredients For Simple chicken Curry:

500 grams chicken
3 tbsp oil
1 small bay leaf
2-4 cloves
2-inchcinnamon stick
3-4 green cardamom
1 tsp jeera powder
2 slit green chilies
3 finely chopped onions
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
puree of 2 tomatoes
1 tsp turmeric powder
salt as needed
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
few chopped coriander leaves

Step by step method of Simple chicken Curry recipe :

1. Add 3 tbsp oil in a kadhai and heat it.Now add cinnamon stick,green cardamom,cloves,bay leaf and saute it for a minute.

2. Add 2-3 slit green chilies and 3 finely chopped onions.Stir well the mixture till the onions turns golden.

3. After that add 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste and stir well the above mixture.

4. Saute the above mixture till the raw smell of ginger garlic paste is disappears.

5. Now add the tomato puree along with salt and turmeric powder.

6. Fry till the raw smell has gone.

7. Now add 1 tsp jeera powder,1 tsp red chili powder and 1 tsp dhania powder.mix well the above mixture.Till the mixture begins to leave the side of the kadhai, saute the above mixture.

 8. Add chicken,1 tsp garam masala powder and some chopped coriander leaves and mix well the above mixture.

9. Until the chicken turns pale saute well the chicken

.10. Cover the kadhai and cook for about 3-5 minutes.

11. Pour some water as needed.

12. Make sure you use just enough water to partially cover the chicken.Cover the kadhai and cook the chicken on a medium flame till the chicken becomes soft tender.

13. Now test the chicken if required add the salt also check whether the chicken becomes soft and should come off from the bone easily.

14. Finally garnishes the chicken withy chopped coriander leaves and switch off the gas and serve with roti or rice.
